Ghana was the first British colony in Africa to gain
independence - on March 6th -1957. It was formerly known as the Gold Coast.
If you spend a few hours in the uncongested capital at Accra, and you'll swear waves and
wind off the Gulf of Guinea have instilled the region and people alike with equatorial warmness.
If an award is given for the country with the most amicable people in West Africa,
Ghana would be a severe candidate.

The largest of all penguins are the "Emperors".
They can easily be recognised by their black cap, orange ear patches
and blue-grey neck.
Under the Emperor's skin a thick layer of blubber is placed. A compact layer of woolly
coating covers their chicks.
An overlapping structure of feathers grows over this layer, whereby the outer
feathers are masked with a greasy and sleazy coating.
This feather structure is mainly responsible for retaining heat and keeping the water off the penguins' skin.
