Travel TV Ltd. was founded in 2004 and is the holder of a TV License for maintaining a digital TV channel specialised in the thematically area of Travel, Tourism, Culture and Ethnography. 

In summer 2005 the first signals have been sent via TV cable in Sofia.

A compact program package was broadcasted within the year 2005 - starting from October - Europe-wide via the Sirius Satellite.

A first expansion phase was taken by broadcasting in cooperation with one of the most important satellite providers worldwide - Eutelsat S.A.

Within a further expansion phase it is projected to broadcast via Thor and / or Astra to an audience located in Middle and North Europe.

T.TV.I. is targeting a Pan-European Audience interested in travel, tourisme and culture. The target group is characterized as follows: having comprehensive travel experiences, is interested in cultural background information and open for new TV formats, like interactive and feedback oriented features embedded in IPTV environments.
